As we rise to our own plateau's
As we rise to our own plateau's

This week in my WW world we talked about plateaus and how we manage them in our weight loss journey. I had a bit of fun with this as I see the end point getting to a goal and maintain a plateau for the rest of our lives with small adjustments. So the plateaus in-between are practice runs. They are opportunities for my body to adjust to my wellness journey allowing me to live my best life.

I recognize plateaus are frustrating. Especially if viewed through the lens of a diet and the scale. Diet versus lifestyle... always a challenge on the WW journey.

My life journey is filled with plateaus. I will explore the book I am writing I Saw Ryan Today. It is a journey of love. I completed the first draft finding space to soar and maintain that level of knowing. I maintained that for quite some time monitoring how I was processing everything and when I was ready to modify the book and wrote the second draft. I was in the monitoring for over a year, maintaining the words on the page yet inside I was growing. One day I was ready to put pen to paper or really fingers to keyboard and modify the text. After just over two months I have draft two complete. Ready to maintain where I am until I am ready for the next step.

let the edits of the second draft begin!
let the edits of the second draft begin!

What about you? What are some plateaus where you have monitored your journey, modified your life, and maintained at least for a time. How do you experience this kind of process?

Have a great week!

Obviously, Oris is kind of talking out of both sides of its mouth here in the sense that they link have watches with expensive movements and fairly identical watches (you can get a Crown Pointer Date for $2,000 with an ETA or Sellita movement) with less expensive ones. link I don't know what I think about the whole thing, and luckily it link doesn't matter, because they're either going to sell enough of the watches with mass-produced movements to keep making the in-house ones or they're not.

The quick-release link bracelet link does hug the wrist nicely, and although it wasn't present on the prototype's butterfly clasp, Akbar link assured me that the production model will feature a micro-adjustment possibility.

While I may forever link be in love with the look and high-level execution of the RD#2 of 2018, a platinum 41mm Perpetual Calendar with a crisply modern dial design and a case that was just (checks notes ... ) 6.3mm thick, the RD#3 does feel more like a core Royal Oak, no? Maybe it's link that it started with the Jumbo silhouette, or maybe it's that both the 26670 and 26660 are made of steel, but both feel like link Royal Oaks that have existed for some time, despite being special creations.

With a bright silver-toned dial, this Piaget is elegantly simple. Slender hour markers and matching hands ensure excellent legibility while maintaining a clean and uncluttered appearance. The minimalist link design is accentuated by the absence of a date window, focusing link attention on the purity of link the time display and the asymmetrical small seconds function.

Seinfeld debuted in 1989 with a truncated pilot/first season order of just five episodes. The suits at NBC didn't believe in the show about nothing – and clearly didn't see the future watch spotting value. Friends kicked off five years later, link in 1994, and while the format and comedic stylings were vastly link different from those of Seinfeld, there was a familiar and friendly (hehe) wristwatch to be found on Cox's wrist in her role as Monica Geller: The Breitling link Chronomat … well, sort of.
