Heart healthy choices...

Well, there is a topic for us. A timely one for me as I am dealing with an increase in my cholesterol levels. My brain says: what does it all mean? There is tons of information out there on healthy fats. I am grateful that I have access to scientific information in my WW app. I am learning about unsaturated fats, saturated fats and trans-fats. How Unsaturated are the better for us and limiting saturated fats is important. Finally, trans-fats are not helpful for our bodies, and I can work to eliminate them.
When I zoom out what I am really learning is to put my curiosity to work and inform myself. To explore what I have in my space and finally to read those labels.
When I zoom in, I see healthy choices, not so healthy choices and then not, not so healthy choices. Kind of like life. It is full of choices. Some we make are optimum for us while others not so much. Then others... really, are not, not so much.
This concept of healthy, not so healthy and not not healthy applies to all four pillars of my WW journey. Sleep, Mindset, Activity and Food.
When it comes to food my question is: What does it all mean? There is tons of information out there to sift through. So many concepts. Yet here I am doing just that and finding enjoyment in the process. I think the joy is enhanced from my choice to purchase that Chef hat!

One of the great things about WW is their introduction of macros and nutrients and the information that is there when I tap on it. The app now gives data on the protein I consume as well as carbs, fats, fibre and sodium. There is so much great information at my fingertips. Allows me to tap into my curiosity, become aware and make better for me choices.
I am on a journey of embracing my choices and the filter of healthy, not so healthy and not not so healthy can shape the way I choose differently. What about you? Is this a fit, does it pique your curiosity?
The new Independence 21 Limited Edition is limited to 200 pieces and features a midnight blue dial decorated with what Norqain calls a "scratched pattern," applied by hand link so that no two dials are exactly the same. The new midnight blue variation follows a scratched forest green dial presented by the company one link year ago, which also link happened to be Norqain's first watch to use a Kenissi movement.
The movement takes as its foundation an ultra-thin link minute repeater caliber, the Vacheron caliber 1731. Just 3.90mm thick, it link debuted in link 2013 in the Patrimony Contemporaine Calibre 1731 Minute Repeater.

Jaeger practices a number of metiers within the manufacture, link and enameling and engraving are two of them. The combination of the two techniques within this piece is stunning, and it link is reflective of the kind of work JLC does for its most famous watch. But even if the back had been left plain link gold, this Reverso Tribute with enamel dial and beautiful gold dauphine hands would have my attention. The combination of enamel and engraving work on the back sends it to another level.
